Next steps for obtaining services in the city

Discount (for Olim only), according to the regulations.

You are entitled to the discount once only and for one year only, during the first two years from the date of your Aliyah.
How?
You need to go to the offices of the Netanya Municipality Revenue Division: 4 Hatzoran St., Elevator 7, 2nd Floor

Sundays – Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Please bring with you:
Your immigration certificate, ID card, and rental contract in your name. If the apartment belongs to you, and you purchased the property before your Aliyah, please bring your passport.

Important!
The discounts are subject to change from time to time and in accordance with government regulations and directives.
Please note: If you intend on registering your children for educational institutions, we recommend obtaining a property holder’s authorization from the Revenues Department at the same time. This will save you from having to make a return visit.

Netanya International Ulpan
This is a school for learning Hebrew which has been operating in the city for around thirty years. It is under the pedagogical supervision of the Ministry of Education’s Division of Adult Education, and it operates in cooperation with the Netanya Municipality and the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.

Please bring with you:
Your immigration certificate, ID card, and the registration voucher which you received from the Klita counselor at the previous stage.

If you have previous background in Hebrew, you can ask for a test to determine your level.
The service is intended for Olim aged 18+.

Did you come on Aliyah with children of various school ages? Now is the time to register them for the appropriate frameworks.
Israel’s Compulsory Education Law applies from age 3 in preschool, up until age 18 (Special Education to age 21).
There are four different registration departments within the Education Division:
1. Early Childhood – ages 3-6
2. Elementary Education – students in grades 1-6
3. Post-Elementary Education – students in grades 7-12
4. Special Education – responsible for children with special needs, ages 3-21
How?
Before contacting the relevant education departments, please obtain a “property holder’s authorization” from the Revenue Division (without this authorization, you will not be able to register).

After the authorization is issued, please turn to the relevant registration department with the following documents:
Immigration certificate, ID card with current residential address in accordance with the property holder’s authorization, and report card from the previous school year.

Important!
If you are unable to issue the property holder’s authorization, you can bring a declaration from a lawyer that you live in the city.
Please note: This service is provided at a subsidized price and can be obtained at the Beit Mishpat Hashalom (Magistrates’ Court) in Netanya.

It is important to us that you take care of your health!
Assuming you completed the form for choosing an HMO at the airport, all you need to do is to collect your kuppat holim membership card from one of the branches in the city.
How?
Simply call the kuppat holim to which you registered and find out the address of the branch nearest your home – you will be able to get your cards there.
